Lachesis & The Yarn
Oil on wood. 48 x 61cm

The Fate, Lachesis, unspools a lifespan as a length of yarn.
In Greek mythology, the three Fates, or Moirai, were sisters who personified fate or destiny.

Turning Points triptych. Want/Wait/Watch
Oil on wood. 3 paintings each measuring 52.5 x 61cm
£1485 for all three paintings, plus framing & shipping
Turning Points is a triptych, consisting of three panels: 1. Want. 2. Wait. 3. Watch.
‘Turning Points’ is open to narrative interpretation from the viewer. The limited palette and black backgrounds create a strong sense of drama. Having women in each role brings a fresh nuance to the usual vampire trope.

Cleopatra: "Check Mate"
Oil on wood. 48 x 61cm
£460 plus framing & shipping
‘I can host the most expensive dinner party!’ declared Cleopatra, in a wager with Mark Antony. Yet the event that followed did not seem overly decadent… Until, towards the end of the evening, Cleopatra removed one of her priceless, gigantic pearl earrings, dropping it into her wine. It dissolved. She downed it. Checkmate, Mark Antony! Check. Mate.
In my painting, Cleopatra is seated on her luxury barge, with its royal purple sails and fairy lights.
